Welcome to the Library and Information Center, IIIT-Delhi. The Library is fully automated using RFID Technology with EM Security System. The Library is enriched with a vast collection of print and electronic resources in all areas of interest. It is housed in a separate four storey building on the campus.

Know the one point solution; the Circulation Desk
The circulation desk is located on the first floor. This is a one point solution for your all queries including issue-return of the resources. You can write us at library@iiitd.ac.in or dial 01126907513/510/503, we will be happy to assist you.
Get your membership
The students, staff and faculty are the core members of the library. Once you join the IIITD family, shortly your membership will be created without any additional charge and you will be informed by an email. You will also receive your personalized library account login details.
Know what the resources library has for you
Mainly 2 types of resources are available for you in the library; 1. Print resources and 2. Electronic resources.
Print resources are comprised of Print books and Periodicals/Newspaper.
E-resources are comprised of Databases, E-journals, Conference Proceedings and E-books.
Find the best resources for your area of teaching
The library has many specified resources for various subject areas. These resource bundle comprises of books, course reserve books, databases, e-journals and various writing tools and plagiarism detection tools. Please refer to the library portal or the circulation desk for details.

The subscribed databases and e-journals are as mentioned below. These are comprise of all major subject taught in the IIITD.

Find your book using OPAC
You can find the print books and their availability in the library using OPAC at the library portal. The whole stack of books are kept in 3 separate rooms on the 1st floor. To locate any book, first search it in the OPAC and check the availability in the library, you need to note down the call no. location, collection and status of the book. Then refer the below example to get the book.
The print books can be issued to the user only if the user is physically present at the circulation desk with IIITD ID card.
Know the best e-books collection
The library has 700+ kindle eBooks and 34 kindle readers for its users which can be borrowed from circulation desk. Also, the Library has a subscription to Kindle Unlimited that offers around 1 million eBooks in different genres. Beside the kindle eBooks, the library also subscribed eBooks with LNCS for CSE from Springer and Economics & Finance, and Sociology from OUP.
Required book is not available in the library! Make a purchase suggestion.
If any book required for your teaching is not found in the catalogue, you can recommend it to purchase in the library. For making the request you can use your library account. Just login there and make purchase suggestions including no. of copies.
Looking for a paper which is not subscribed?
Don't worry! Make a request for the required paper or chapter using ILL-DDS form, we will arrange it for you from other libraries. If it is a book, the same will be arranged for 2-3 weeks.

We have a scanner for the users to scan a document, book chapter, etc. located at the reference section of the library.
Want to access e-resources!
Well! Library has many desktop PCs for the users on different floors. Just use your IIITD login credentials and use as long as you need. However, the e-resources can be accessed using IIITD internet throughout the campus and remote access can be possible using off campus access credentials through https://idp.iiitd.edu.in/
Looking for the institutional repository of IIITD
The Repository of IIIT-Delhi is the best place to find scholarly intellectual output in the form of theses and dissertations and project reports.
Know the research output of IIITD through IRINS
IRINS-IIITD is the best place to get the research and publication output of IIITD faculty. You can find the information of Journal Articles, Book Chapters, Conference Proceedings, Patents and other publications of the faculty including the citation and Indexes. This also provides brief faculty profiles who are working currently at IIITD.
