E-Journals
In view of researchers requirements, the Institute subscribes to various e-Journals from reputed publishers and societies. These e-Journals are accessible on campus and off-campus to its users.

Plagiarism check tools
For supporting research, the Library provides tools for plagiarism detection to its faculty, PhD scholars, and teaching assistants. Currently the Institute has access/subscription to the following plagiarism check tools –
E-Books
In addition to print books, the Library purchased eBooks (CSE & SSH) for its users. These are available on the Library catalog and accessible online on-campus and off-campus.

- eBooks with LNCS for CSE from Springer
Citation tools
There are many citation tools available to help researchers. The basic versions are freely available for individuals. The Institute's Library has listed out the following well-known citation tools with step by step guide for using these easily. Currently, the Institute does not subscribe the paid version of these tools.
Proofreader
- The Grammarly premium license is provided to all the students, faculty, and staff members at the Institute. To access Grammarly effectively, please use its tips & tutorials.
Writing and Publishing System
For promoting writing and publishing, the Institute has a subscription to the Overleaf Professional: writing and publishing system (from Write LaTex). Any current registered researchers from III-Delhi can avail this subscription. However, the basic version of Overleaf is free to all; anyone can register and use it.

The overdue fine will be charged @ Rs.10/- per day on each book (there will be no fine for Saturday, Sunday, and other holidays). Book issue service may be suspended if the overdue fine exceeds Rs.1000/-. Once the fine is paid, the service will be re-activated. Click here to pay overdue online.
Books/Materials can be re-issued if there is no reservation (Hold) placed on them by other users.
The Library and Information Center sends an overdue reminder to related borrowers.
For the loss of library books/materials, the borrower has to pay the current list price of the book + overdue fine (if any). The overdue fine will not exceed the current list price of the book.
No book/learning material from the Library and Information Center should be taken out without proper check-out/recording. If anyone is caught, the disciplinary action will be taken.
Only one copy of a title can be issued at a time.
The library and information center may recall any issued book even before the due date.
Users are responsible for books issued against their ID cards (any damage or loss), even if someone else returns it on their behalf.
Book Drop Box Facility
IIIT-D Library has a Book Drop Box Facility. The drop box is kept on the ground floor of the Library building. Please note the following –
This drop box is for returning issued items when the Library is closed.
During circulation hours, please return the issued items to the Library circulation desk, first floor.
All dropped items will be returned from the respective Library accounts just the next working day of the Library.
Interlibrary loan and document delivery service
What is this service?
The interlibrary loan and document delivery service is for such books and research papers that are not part of the IIIT-Delhi Library collection but required by its users. This is a free service and Library doesn't charge any fee for this.
Who can use this service?
Any students, researchers, and faculty of IIIT-Delhi can avail this service.
How to use this service?
An online form has been created for this service, users need to fill out this form and submit. After successful submission of the form, users will receive the acknowledgment of their request submission immediately. Within 24 working hours, users will be informed that when their requested book/articles will be delivered to them.
Study spaces
The library has created different types of Learning Spaces in the Library building for its users. The spaces are individual study carrels, quiet study, casual study, group study, group discussion, and seminar/workshop rooms. These spaces remain open 24x7 for the users. Also, high-speed wi-fi internet connectivity is available for Library users.
Space booking
Keeping in view the users requirements, the Institute has developed an application for online space booking. Using this application, Library users can book their required study spaces which are available for booking. this is a web-based application developed by a team of Institute's students under the guidance of faculty, academics, and Library.
Library events
The library conducts students' centric events from time to time (sessions on writing & publishing, plagiarism, ethics in research, research tools, GRE/GMAT for higher education opportunities, intellectual property rights, emerging trends & technologies in higher education, etc.) Look at past events here.
Remote Access
For accessing the subscribed e-Resources from off-campus/outside campus, the Library provides remote access facilities. However, all the subscribed e-Resources are accessible on campus without username and passwords. Currently, the following remote access facilities are available –
